Job Designation: Deputy General Manager – BI & Analytics

Educational Qualifications: 

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science/ Finance or equivalent streams
  • Potential confirmation in PV44 is mandatory for Internal Candidates

Years of Experience: 

  • 15 – 20 years of experience in large organizations related to Solutioning, Software Development and People Management.
  • Candidates from different entities of Mercedes-Benz AG may also apply for this role.

Role Expectations: 

Type of Work: Techno functional including Product and People management

Areas of Work: Data Warehousing, Front End (UI), Analytics Solution, SAP BW/BI, FIORI and Data Analytics Platform, FOSS

Specific Knowledge: 

  • Strong capabilities to develop strategy and growth opportunities and good understanding of Finance Domain
  • Broad based understanding and usage of SAP BI and Analytics solutions in Finance ecosystem
  • Experience of working in international teams and developing multiple working models of collaboration
  • Proven track record of delivering IT solutions in large scale organizations.
  • Experience in stakeholder management (managing interactions with C -level executives)

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic development of BI& Analytics solution portfolio @MBRDI
  • Increase integration model depth and push for enhanced product ownership @MBRDI
  • Increase and assure quality, sustainability and business value of products and services @MBRDI
  • Establish KPI for maturity depth tracking as well as product/service value

Technical leadership:

  • Ensure that the MBRDI BI & Analytics solution portfolio is fulfilling the corresponding product requirements as well as is staying up to date & compliant with the current standards.
  • Support advancement of the technical landscape and comprehensive architecture for the mentioned areas.

Organizational development:

  • Align team structure and organization towards product and capability organization.
  • Develop operating model to align with SAFe based product-oriented process organization and capability-based line organization

People development:

  • Develop the people in the team based on defined strategic capabilities to fulfill and enhance the technical and analytic expectations of the BI&AA ARTs.
  • Develop strategic sourcing models with HR@MBRDI and capability leads (ITG/FxB) to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Foster cross-cultural development as well as agile collaboration mindset and skillset (e.g. SAFe method know-how)
