Job Description

  • Diploma/Graduate
  • Experience with 4 Years to 7 Years in same or related
  • Preference for Domain specific certifications such as, various MCSA, MCSE. etc.
  • Provides technical expertise for installation, configuration and operation of MS SQL servers 2012 to 2022.
  • Performs administration and monitoring of the assigned MS SQL servers
  • Applies best practices to enable stable MS SQL operation
  • Performs necessary Database patching and updates of the MS SQL servers 2012 to 2022
  • Design, implement and modify physical database structures.
  • Ensure highest standard of systems, database and platform requirements related to capacity, performance, integrity, and recovery.
  • Ensure data security, integrity and access control as per auditing standards.
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of back-ups and recovery procedures.
  • Configure new, updating firmware, policy changes
  • Build new applications, add new group for access, Create groups, handle SSO
  • Support on setting up the machine and connectivity
  • Support on Cleaning up old records, adding new records, syncing records between different server
  • Maintain connectivity between DUO and anything it has to be connected to
  • Support on non-working components, adding users, adding rules and troubleshooting, PGP key management
  • Maintain keys, maintain connectivity to servers and AD
  • Build and manage network access policies, radius authentication, configuration, network connectivity to and from.
  • Work Issues related to connectivity to data warehouse
  • Support on issues related to Server running slowly, scaling issues
  • knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies (Exchange, SQL etc.)
  • Skill to Manage Physical and Virtual Servers in a large environment typically 100+ Servers.
  • Relevant Server Management experience of 1 to 4 years.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Preferred.
  • Experience in handling Servers across multiple OS flavours.
  • Experience on configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Clusters 
  • Experience on troubleshooting DHCP and DNS Services.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience in tracking server activity, performing upgrades of software, addressing technical problems.
  • Good Documentation Skills preferred. 
  • Coordination with external vendor for the Issue resolution and solution optimization.
  • Accountable for ensuring SLA adherence with on time ticket acceptance and closures.
  • Inventory Updates and EPO Compliance.
  • Ready to work in Rotational shifts(24x5).
  • Required to prepare Technical SOP's and bring in improvements.
