Purpose

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you contribute to and implement the tactical/ field medical plans in collaboration with Local Therapeutic area dedicated Teams. 

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be the main field-based resource for the medical/scientific community including physicians and medical centers, delivering the scientific information that they require in the context of their work, in accordance with local laws, regulations, codes and Roche SOPs. The role is a non-promotional, field-based role reporting into the medical department and works closely together with the medical team to support the Product Teams in assigned Therapeutic Areas.

The Medical Science Liaison reports to the Country Medical Director.

Your Impact:

Interact with the Healthcare professionals (HCPs) to understand their views, preferences and interests, in the assigned therapeutic area, and where Roche can partner with them to meet their needs where aligned with our strategies

Provide medical expertise to customers, and customer insights to internal product teams

Respond to unsolicited, product related questions from physicians in accordance to local laws, regulations and codes and Roche SOPs

Serve as the scientific bridge and point of contact with the investigator for ISTs, and supporting Roche sponsored study planning and execution including enhancing the site’s performance and quality

Who you are:

You have a demonstrated experience within the pharmaceutical industry including 2 to 3 Years of experience in Medical Affairs

You possess an experience in KOL relationship management and in Neuroscience and Oncology therapeutic areas 

You have the In-depth knowledge of the UAE health care environment and systems

You have proven experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and ability to work in multicultural organizations and collaborate effectively

You are a result-oriented person with presentation and analytical skills

You possess excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills
