Introduction

As an IBM SAP Package Consultant, Supply Chain, you will design and configure Supply Chain (EWM and TM) solutions. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

You as a SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) consultant you will be responsible for assessing client’s business requirements, determining fit/gap to SAP TM/EWM systems, confirming that the solution meets the client’s requirements, design/configure/test/deploy solution and end user training if required..

You will assists clients in the selection, implementation and support of SAP solutions which naturally include design, configuration, and testing.

You as a consultant will provide functional and business process expertise on a project team which generally consists of consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees.

You will participate in pursuing client sales opportunities, working on bid & proposal efforts ,design activities and gap analysis.

Key Responsibilities: –Design and Delivery of the SAP EWM module – Assessment of client business problems. – Conducting the analysis to solve the problems. – Administration of engagement activities.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Solution and Deliver SAP Transformational programs, with involvement in the Supply Chain, EWM and TM processes
  • Understand and act as a Subject Expert in SAP EWM and TM the best practices and Industry Trends. Understand the technical requirements of a solution and design with best of class solutions
  • Establish and take an essential role in the dialog of effective customer partnerships through executive contacts/networking
  • Maintain alignment with client’s business strategy, drivers, and goals
  • Ensure that the solutioning of client engagement enhances the customer’s competitive advantage, whilst meeting profit and quality targets for IBM
  • Supporting the continuous refinement of IBM’s services, including maturation/training of methods, tools, and points of view, as well as integration with IBM’s other services and products for synergistic value. Harvest, share and present intellectual capital from past and parallel engagements

  • The SAP Package Consultant: SAP SCM TM/EWM is responsible for the design and delivery of SAP and other EWM/TM package solutions into business opportunities across all industries in the region, assisting in sales efforts and responses for client requests across EMEA, with key accounts.
  • The SAP Package Consultant: SAP SCM TM/EWM will understand and use offerings that are differentiated, have a compelling value proposition, and have significant market potential (both now and in the future)
  • The SAP Package Consultant: SAP SCM TM/EWM will understand the competitive landscape of key offerings and position IBM to win, serving as ambassadors for IBM Consulting’ key strategic areas
  • The SAP Package Consultant: SAP SCM TM/EWM will build relationships in client organizations that lead to being viewed as a “trusted advisor.”
  • SAP Package Consultant: SAP SCM TM/EWM will be responsible for maintaining a defined level of utilization across one or multiple client engagements, engaging in the continuous client feedback loop to improve current offerings and create new ones

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven track record of development and implementation of SAP EWM and TM
  • At least 3 years of SAP EWM configuration
  • At least 3 years of full life cycle implementation experience in the SAP EWM module.
  • Understanding of full supply chain and integration into SAP Landscape

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven track record of development and implementation of SAP EWM and TM
  • At least 3 years of SAP EWM configuration
