Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst within our AnalogFolk consultancy named Mindworks, based in the United Kingdom, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing strategic insights to optimise operations for our clients. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop effective solutions to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis:Collaborate with clients to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Optimisation: Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
  • Develop and recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Solution Design and Development: Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Work closely with development teams to design and validate solutions that align with business objectives.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends from various data sources.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with change management teams to develop strategies for implementing proposed solutions and managing organizational change effectively. Assist in training and supporting end-users during the transition to new processes or systems.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and expectations. Act as a trusted advisor, providing consultancy and strategic guidance to clients based on industry best practices and business analysis expertise.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Participate in the development and execution of test plans to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and functional specifications. Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing to validate solution functionality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business analysis and consultancy. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster continuous improvement and enhance consultancy offerings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited UK institution. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a consultancy setting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools, methodologies, and process modelling techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritise effectively.

We ask all to opt-in and work from the office two days a week across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
