YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Coordinate a team in the daily activities for quality and continuous improvement ensuring the good performance of the site and the improvement road map progress.

YOUR MISSION

  • Have overall responsibility and accountability for the key aspect of Quality and CI (Continuous Improvement) function, including direct management of quality & manufacturing engineers and quality control associate
  • Manage the Quality Management System and the respective programs tied to it. Ensure compliance with safety & environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Act as liaison for regulatory compliance agencies (that is, OSHA, ISO, ASME, PED, ATEX)
  • Establish appropriate improvement strategies using Hoshin Kanri Planning Matrix to optimize resources & processes based on the nature of opportunities in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety to meet defined KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Monitor & evaluate monthly KPI performance metrics to ensure that organizational objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency and quality are met. Own, manage and report various KPIs/Improvement projects at factory level in CI and Quality database
  • Lead and drive a culture of continuous process improvement throughout the organization. Promote and manage Lean Six sigma initiatives
  • Coach and facilitate Kaizen events for problem solving and continuous process improvement
  • Serve & Collaborate as a point of contact to Division and Business Line Quality and Continuous improvement leaders to coordinate implementation of global/business line programs at factory
  • Evalue new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities and approval criteria
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all quality related issues. Provide effective contract review for quality specifications and adherence prior to new contract proposals and awards. Interacts closely with customers to proactively mitigate disruptions and maintain strong working relationships
  • Oversee customer complaint resolution portal, ensuring customer's complaints are addressed satisfactorily. Leading & collaborating with various departments in deriving effective solution to address product quality issues
  • Oversee incoming material inspection department, managing supplier quality scorecard and resolving raw material quality issues

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Industrial, mechanical, electronics, engineering or operations/business administration management
  • experience working in Quality and Continuous improvement preferably in a product/Process oriented operations and/or related industry
  • 8 or more years of relevant experience is preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma advanced technical knowledge (L6S certificationBlack belt)
  • Lean manufacturing expertise
  • Attitude to perceive added values from a cost/quality/time perspective
  • Able to tackle problems and act with sense of urgency
  • Able to influence key stakeholders as needed
