About the Role

GoodRx Health is seeking a Video Producer to support the Goodrx Video team in producing and editing visual media that helps to inform and drive healthcare decision-making for consumers. In addition to supporting the larger GoodRx Health Editorial team, the Video team works closely with Manufacturer Solutions to deliver essential Sales needs to clients.

To be successful in this role a strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator is a must. Experience working on a video production set is required, bonus points if you know how to set up a C-stand, fold a bounce, and handle a slate. Most importantly, this person should be a self-starter — eager and willing to manage a busy calendar of production, editing, and development on a day-to-day basis. This is a dynamic role. You’ll be working with and alongside editors, animators, directors, doctors, physicians, and executives, and you’ll be directly supporting fellow Video Producer(s) to develop and produce content for GoodRx Health.

The GoodRx Health Editorial team consists of a highly collaborative, cross-functional group of physicians, pharmacists, journalists, copy editors, video professionals and SEO experts who work together to produce high-quality, service-driven content that is inclusive, approachable, and easy to understand.

Responsibilities:

  • A key figure in developing, pitching, writing, producing and editing health content to fulfill both Editorial and Sales needs
  • Strong knowledge of production safety compliance, and drafting contracts.
  • Project optimization through cross-functional collaboration with project stakeholders
  • Update and maintain production calendar month-to-month (Google Calendar), based on directives passed down from the Senior Director of Video
  • Work with Video Editors and Video Producers to manage pre-production, production, and post-production processes
  • Edit video to help support delivery across all projects as needed
  • Experience with optimizing content on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, ability to contribute to our integration into these new platforms
  • Identify and develop systems to grow video with new technologies
  • Ensure the NY Studio is kept clean and organized as needed — some light lifting likely required (pelican cases, sandbags, light stands)
  • Assemble call sheets and production schedules and distribute to all the appropriate stakeholders (ie:camera operators, directors, talent)
  • Book transportation and logistics (HMU, on-set needs, etc.) for video production in-studio and off-site (NYC Hospitals)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in film production and/or video editing, experience with writing and editing video content.
  • Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator
  • Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs
  • Asana, Slack, Frame.io
  • Proficiency with Mac products
  • Experience managing media with external hard drives
  • A background in healthcare is preferred, but not required. Interest and enthusiasm for contemporary healthcare issues and an eagerness to improve health media is also highly preferred, but not required.
