We are looking for our next Corporate Development Manager! This dynamic, strategic-minded individual will join our team to support Internal Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and key initiatives across the firm. This team member will work closely with senior leaders across the company to identify opportunities for improvement, develop actionable strategies, and drive implementation to enhance overall business performance. More, this individual will be a key member of our M&A team: conducting market analysis, identifying industry trends, and leading both qualitative and quantitative analysis of potential acquisition candidates.

Your Role:

  • Internal Consulting: Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and analyze business challenges, opportunities, and process improvements across various functional areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business priorities, ensure buy-in, and drive successful execution.
  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and increase organizational effectiveness through process improvements and automation.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver results on schedule and within scope.
  • Change Management: Develop change management strategies and communication plans to facilitate the successful implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational changes.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Proactively identify potential partnership and acquisition opportunities aligned with Brighton Jones' strategic objectives and growth targets.
  • Conduct Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to evaluate potential opportunities, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Perform Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and operational evaluation.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and projections to assess the financial impact and feasibility of potential transactions.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present regular updates, progress reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or internal consulting roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in business analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing actionable strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Project management experience with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, project management tools, and data visualization software.

Compensation

  • Pay: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

What to expect in the hiring process

1. Values in Action Self-Assessment - at Brighton Jones we don’t just talk about our values, we live by them! We’ve operationalized our values into behaviors and part of the application process includes completing a brief self-assessment on our Values in Action.

2. Initial Interview - this 30-min chat with a recruiter or hiring manager gives us a chance to learn about your background and goals and share more about the role and company.

3. Role Alignment - next you’ll meet with the hiring manager and a peer (virtual or in-person) to dive deeper into the role, responsibilities, and your transferrable experiences.

4. Full Loop - you’ll meet the team in two, back-to-back interviews with team members you’re likely to work with. During these conversations, we’ll be listening for examples of your technical skills as well as how core values show up in your experience. There may also be a writing sample, role play, hiring, or technical assessment depending on the position.

5. Personal Reference Calls - in this final step in the hiring process, you will be asked to arrange 1-2 personal reference calls with past managers of our choosing.
