Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

As a Senior Systems Architect you will lead a team of extraordinary talent to Architect next generation Embedded Systems for Airborne Applications in support of our nation’s core defense systems. 

What you bring to the table:

  • 10 years’ experience designing and developing embedded hardware/software-based solutions
  • Capable of collaborating in a multidisciplinary team including hardware, software, FPGA and cyber-security experts
  • Experience analyzing and defining chassis requirements and associated module complements (both new development and COTS) to meet our customer’s mission performance requirements. 
  • Thorough understanding of open systems standards like SOSA, VPX, OMS, etc. 
  • Must be willing to travel 25%

  • Thorough understanding of hardware engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Strong Electrical or Computer Engineering skills
  • Experience defining ethernet based solutions for system-to-system communications
  • Knowledgeable in Avionics interfaces

Combined Salary Range

USD $166,210.40 - USD $184,389.60 /Yr.
