Senior Transformation Project Manager to drive transformational key initiatives in Mining

Your responsibilities

  • Take part in the transformational journey and implementation of related strategic initiatives
  • Ensure efficient deployment of transformational initiatives through close alignment with business lines, regions, and shared functions
  • Optimization of our business incl. synergy realisation, business model and portfolio enhancements, footprint and organizational structure
  • Assess business cases and provide transparency on the financial implications of projects and initiatives
  • Engage with key stakeholders e.g. business development teams, communications, etc.
  • Maintain impact overview and report on key strategic initiatives driven by business lines, regions, and group functions

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Transformation Office (Mining) which is part of the EVP area Legal, Transformation and M&A. The Transformation Office is currently a team of 5 (senior) project managers as well as the FLS Change Management team of 5 employees. The role implies both project leadership and management – but no direct managerial responsibility.

What you bring

  • You have a Master's degree in Business, Economics or similar
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in management consulting, in-house consulting, PMO function or similar in a larger company with multinational activities and complex transformational agendas
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance transformational agenda and hands-on tasks, follow-up and execution as part of the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication and reporting/presentation skills - solid excel and PowerPoint skills needed
  • Ability to handle multiple activities at the same time in a setting where speed is often a limited factor, though making sure that tasks are followed through
  • Engage with key senior stakeholders across the business
  • Positive attitude, team player and curious to learn and solve complex matters
