Job Description:

This role will have dual reporting to Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer at International HuBS with matrix reporting to Head of Total Rewards & HR Partner, Asia

The incumbent will work with other HR Centre Of Excellence in driving the organization’s people strategy via the development, implementation and communication of effective rewards program to attract, retain, motivate and engage talents. (S)he will drive Total Rewards strategy for the organization and be HR Business Partner for designated business unit. (S)he will also work closely with the HuBS leadership team, helping them to develop and coordinate lines of communication within the organization among employees.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop, review and implement SLHK’s Total Rewards strategy to ensure alignment with the Corporate’s direction and SLHK business strategies
  • Anticipate, identify and develop resolution to address issues pertaining to SLHK’s Total Rewards policies and programs
  • Responsible for package recommendations and job evaluation for senior positions
  • Responsible for the development and review of all Total Rewards related policies and guidelines and work with HR team to set up a system for full compliance
  • Oversee and review HR policies and Employee Handbook
  • Oversee, review and improve C&B processes such as, but not limited to, myPerformance-myPay cycle, market benchmarking exercise, sales incentives plan review, job evaluation, benefits review, wellness programs, etc.
  • Set C&B objectives and provide clear guidelines to HR team in managing C&B related decisions such as approval matrix
  • Lead HuBS major initiatives in Compensation, benefits as well as Wellness.
  • Support the organization on C&B technologies and the use of analytic tools for HR programs and activities
  • Provide C&B related advice and support related to business initiatives such as, but not limited to, M&A, organizational effectiveness, etc.
  • Design and develop tools and programs to enhance compensation knowledge of HRBP’s and people leaders
  • Partner closely with HRBP, talent team, business leaders from SLHK and Regional Office to support all C&B and other HR projects and initiatives
  • Keep abreast of the latest Hong Kong and Asia compensation, benefits and wellness trends. Provide timely advice and updates to the business and HR on market intelligence to drive effective HR decisions
  • Partner closely with Finance and HR team to oversee HR budget
  • Lead strategic HR projects as and when needed

Requirements:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or Business related disciplines or equivalent
  • At least 15+ years of relevant leadership experience, preferably in financial institutions or multinational companies
  • Extensive and diverse knowledge on HR and rewards strategies and practices gained from industry or global firms
  • Highly sensitive to numbers and details
  • Articulate in presenting ideas and details
  • Able to navigate comfortably in a face-paced, ambiguous and complex environment
  • Demonstrate agility and resilience in driving effective change
  • Strong presence and communicates with impact and influence.
  • Great organizational skills and ability to deliver measureable results.
  • Discretion, diplomacy and tact in dealing with stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills.
  • Creative in problem solving with strong business acumen
