The Operations Analyst is responsible for coordinating daily responsibilities during peak periods to ensure Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded. The Analyst will work directly with internal bank customers (Bankers, Relationship Managers and other business partners) to analyze and complete necessary requests, core system updates, process files and resolve issues as well as meet all appropriate deadlines. The role applies extensive knowledge of the job to identify opportunities and recommend changes to existing procedures to support continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of deposit operations duties that require the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment with good problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail. This position is responsible for review and processing requests related to Deposit Operations of the Bank as well as providing support to our lines of business. Candidate should possess the ability to adapt to change and promote teamwork through individual participation. This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of three days in the office.

Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Daily review and morning pre scrub of positive pay exception items including account maintenance, reconciliation and returns
  • Review and process CDARS and ICS account set up and maintenance
  • Establish and maintain effective communication as a partner for internal clients
  • Provide timely and informed support for a range of inquiries including the processing of workflows, rate changes, rate adjustments and other customer account maintenance inquiries. 
  • Manage, review and prioritize requests in assigned work queues and department shared mailbox. 
  • Complete and process internal client requests, review for accuracy and completeness and enter data into the IBS Insight system
  • Ensure a high level of accountability & consistency in adhering to our internal customer quality, processing, communication and turnaround
  • Responsible for completing department metrics reporting and projects as assigned
  • Cross-train in different Deposit Operations processes and be able to float to other departments as necessary

All duties and responsibilities must be performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work based on request volume and other departmental assignments as assigned
  • Ability to work independently, meeting deadlines
  • Detailed and process oriented with a focus on integrity and accuracy of information
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, independent learning, detailed analysis of requests, compliance to established policies and procedure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of FIS systems preferred
  • Knowledge of IntraFi product offerings (CDARS/ICS) preferred
  • Good working knowledge of applicable federal guidelines and regulations
  • College degree preferred, or 3-5 years in retail or deposit operations, or similar role considered
