JOB DESCRIPTION

Administration

Monitors the return of all artwork/trans/photos/films from suppliers. 

Ensures proper records of materials taken from/returned to library are maintained.

Customer Service

Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Operational

Create visual concepts using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers.

Develop the overall layout, production and design for advertisements, brochures, flyers, posters, menus, magazines, videos and sales tools (Discipline-specific PPTs, story books, fact sheets) and any collateral required by the hotel, according to brand identity. 

Develop creative ideas and concepts by closely working with DOSM and Marcom Manager

Possess creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines

Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.

Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, and imagination.

Discusses illustration at various stages of completion and makes changes as necessary..

Develop design briefs, pitch and present the creative ideas confidently to DOSM and Marcom Manager

Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangements, size, type font, aesthetic and style in line with Park Hyatt Brand guidelines and submitting them for approval

Produces within the specified guidelines all promotional collateral required for both Rooms and Food & Beverage.

Creating and executing a style guide for artwork

Plan concepts by studying information and materials.

Confidently work with a wide range of media and use multiple graphic design software

Amend final designs to the team’s comments and gain full approval.

Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional graphic design sessions

Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary

Conduct, coordinate, liaise and take charge of property and promotional photo and video shoots.

Ensure photos and videos are in line with Park Hyatt Brand guidelines.

Prepare the mood board and story of shooting plan

Edit and produce short video clips for social media for all brand pillars and for promotions.

Assists with internal photography of events or VIP arrivals where required.

Continuously update new promotional artworks on all communication channels

Creating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other department

Coordinate/management of relations with external and internal contacts (suppliers, vendors and purchasing team)

Liaises with Materials Department and works with suppliers and other departments to professionally and competently execute all projects

Produces and installs props and materials required for weddings, seminars, meetings and other events.

Personnel

Supports the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.

Other Duties

Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.

Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel and Hyatt International.

Responds to changes in the Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.

Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.

Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Ideally with a relevant diploma from Graphic Designing or

Minimum 2 years work experience as Graphic Designer

Communicate in Vietnamese and English effectively, both orally and in writing

Knowledge of Principles, methods and techniques of contemporary print and motion graphic design, illustrative advertising, display art and copy layout

Computer graphics programs including but not limited to Photoshop
