The Boeing Company is looking for a F-22 OFP Build Associate Software Engineer to join the F-22 program located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

The F-22 program is seeking software engineers to produce system level Operational Flight Plans (OFP) deliveries for lab and flight test. Candidate will be a member of the System Level Build team chartered with developing and maintenance of the build system and processing software for lab and flight test. This work may involve integration of new hardware and development of the software interfaces. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail, excel in a collaborative culture, have strong communication skills, and work well in a dynamic environment with often-changing priorities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Rapid Capability initiative to build and deliver software with the latest development innovations and tools
  • Maintaining and enforcing compliance with program CM processes
  • Development and maintenance of tools, scripts, automated processes that support system level builds
  • Participate in automation for faster response time of configured builds for integration and flight testing.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years’ experience in embedded software using Perl, C#, C++ or other higher order language
  • Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance Pre-Start
  • 2+ years’ experience programming with Java, C++, C#
  • 2+ years’ experience using Perl programming language
  • 2+ years’ experience in embedded software development

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with OFP Build Environments
  • 1+ years of experience in Software Configuration management system
  • Jira knowledge
  • Jenkins experience
  • Bit Bucket experience
  • Artifactory experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range for Associate: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00
