Diverse Staff | Strong Leadership | Partnership with Unions | Benefits Job Summary Job Summary This position will make an impact on the lives of students with disabilities by providing transition services through a TPP contract and Special Education Services. Time is split 85% and 15%, respectively. Transition Services are provided through a cooperative program Transition Partnership Program (TPP) contract. This contract is between the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and Green Dot Public Schools. Case carriers, school counselors, school psychologists, and school administrators refer students between the age of 16-21 years old, to TPP. The goal of this position is to prepare students with disabilities for employment through DOR Student Services that includes job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, work-based learning opportunities, postsecondary education counseling and instruction in self-advocacy. In addition, this position provides Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Services that includes employment preparation, job development, placement and follow-up, non-supported job coaching. Services are provided during the school day, after school and in the community. Support for a larger population of students with disabilities is provided under Green Dot’s Special Education Program in collaboration with case carriers and school counselors.
