Job Description

Execute and continuously improve various Supply Chain Reporting activities including Forecast, inventories (e.g. analysis of age of active stock, Logistics Cost and others.

▪ Work with and potentially develop into a key user / champion role for selected Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems and processes on e.g. SAP and JDA platforms, e.g. APO, SCM 2.0, SCORE, PSI. Support effective use of SCM systems, tools, and processes by Business Unit Original Equipment Americas (BU OE AM) team members.

▪ Monitor and continuously improve Logistics Quality activities in collaboration with all stakeholders with BU OE AM roles such as Key Account Management (KAM), Automotive Engineers and within SCM Americas organization such as Logistics Quality, Warehousing and Distribution etc.

▪ Support and run Supply Chain projects within BU OE AM, SCM Americas and Global BU OE Customer Supply Chain.

Manage the Life Cycle of the articles from Article creation over confirming launch readiness and balance out logistics for customers’ programs including start up dates, PSIs, internal/external systems requirements, Transportation, pre-build shipments and packaging requirements

Weekly updates of Production-Sales-Inventory (PSI) files to communicate the need for (replenishment) shipments and track that the plant’s production plans and shipment execution are meeting the required Inventory parameters

▪ Reviewing the age of the active stock and taking appropriate action to safeguard supply and find disposition of aging or phased out stock in coordination with the Life Cycle Coordinator.

▪ Assure availability for all assigned articles along entire supply chain

▪ Receive, enter and manage customer call offs and ensure order placement, management and execution. Support customer 24/7 with issues in execution as needed

▪ Transport-optimized scheduling

▪ Coordination with customer about alternatives in case of availability issues(part-deliveries,dates...)

▪ Transportation monitoring: delivery to customers

Responsible for collaborative OE sales forecasting process for assigned accounts. The collaborative Sales forecast will be coordinated by KAMs, OE Supply Chain, Operations Management, Plant/Import CSR, Customer Sales Forecast Analyst and any other OE customer personnel regarding demand planning

▪ Analyze release variations from current forecast and maintain on-going contact with OE customer analyst regarding pending changes not reflected in customers’ releases

▪ Compile and analyze month-end shipment shipments vs. forecast

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent field
  • Knowledge on Inventory and demand management 
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years internal or external experience required
  • Desired knowledge on SAP (SD/APO DP) & SCORE & other SCM system
