Salary: National from £67,100 to £88,500 and London from £73,700 to £100,000
We have an exciting opportunity to become the manager of the Wholesale Conduct and Fixed Income Team. This is a unique team that combines both policy and supervision of wholesale markets.
The team/department
The team is responsible for wholesale market conduct policy and supervising securitisation and regulated covered bond markets. The purpose of the team is to shape policy in a wide range of wholesale areas which will vary depending on the strategic focus of the FCA. The team will also lead on key fixed income market supervision and policy to promote safe and well-structured securitisation and regulated covered bond markets.
The Team is responsible for wholesale conduct policy in areas such as investment research, best execution, conflict of interest, codes of conduct, and securitisation and regulated covered bond (RCB) policy. The team is also responsible for supervision of the securitisation and RCB markets. This allows the manager and the team to be in a unique position to have effective tools to address market issues through both policy and supervision.
