Marketing Communication Executive

The MCE team in Chennai provides digital marketing support for STM Journals, Conferences and Exhibitions businesses.

About the Role

To support the Marketing Communications Department (within the STM Journals division) via provision of efficient, effective management and delivery of high quality online and offline marketing tasks and services to support current and evolving departmental goals and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for example: emails, banners, social media posts, webinars, promotional access and web marketing.
  • Ensure all relevant marketing material is produced within brand guidelines and distributed to required locations and channels on time.
  • Effective support for exhibits presence including planning, scheduling, and execution, specifically ensuring all the exhibit materials are delivered at exhibit location/booth as expected.
  • Effectively coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns for product promotion, brand building and customer engagement.
  • Support maintenance of product web presence activities across multiple channels.
  • Coordinate and create customer engagement collaterals and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce marketing collaterals to agreed standards and requirements.
  • Management of marketing expense payments to vendors and suppliers
  • Creation of adhoc marketing reports and performance dashboards for stakeholders and management.
  • Effective management of onboarding new marketing tasks and services

Requirement

  • 3+yrs of working experience with MNC’s.
  • Strong knowledge in digital marketing concepts and strategy
  • Affinity towards technology and willingness to learn and experiment with the latest technology.
  • Advanced knowledge/experience of MS Excel, Powerpoint, and documentation application.
  • Self-driven to successfully deliver business goals and willing to collaborate effectively with colleagues at multiple locations.
  • Project management skills, including project initiation, planning, execution, communication, and control.
  • Strong prioritization/organizational skills and manage workload balancing projects and regular work.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • of business/revenue financial targets
  • Knowledge of journal publishing industry preferred but not essential.
