The role of Head of Group Consolidation, Close and Reporting, Financial Reporting & Accounting is part of AXA XL’s Chief Accounting and Capital Officer (CACO) team. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting consolidation, financial close and reporting functions across the US and India. This includes managing a team of over 60 people in the US and India with oversight of the preparation, review and delivery of AXA XL results for inclusion in the AXA Group Annual Report, other public filings and analyst materials, as well as internal management reporting. The comprehensive nature of the close and reporting obligations will require an ability to navigate a complex organization and work effectively with leaders across functions beyond the Chief Accounting function, including FP&A, Actuarial, Tax, Treasury, Finance Operations, AXA Group and others to ensure collective understanding of reporting requirements; cultivating and maintaining robust relationships across the Finance organization will be foundational to success. AXA’s acquisition of XL Group, and ongoing alignment activities, provide a great opportunity to continue to shape the Group Reporting function, drive meaningful change through continuous improvement and developing/incorporating new solutions as the CACO team works closely together using ingenuity to solve problems.
This position offers exposure to leaders throughout the broader Finance function, and therefore tangible opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge of the re/insurance industry. It also comes with critical responsibilities to ensure the timely and accurate adherence to AXA Group financial reporting requirements and execution of key internal controls commensurate with a being part of a large publicly traded company.

The U.S. pay range for this position is USD 147,000 – 273,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience, and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
