Overview:

The role will report into the VP of Data & Insights, leadcom member of the LUSA CDMO. The successful candidate will join the CDMO Data & Analytics team to support the delivery of all analytics and advanced analytics products across Media, CRM and possibly e-commerce. This role demands a hands-on leader who can seamlessly blend strategic thinking with practical execution to deliver concrete results.

This role is a great opportunity for a hybrid data and marketing talent to join an ambitious and fast-moving team where the successful candidate will be able to see concrete impact and value of the work produced.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the data discovery, quality, automation and analytics work of the different data & analytics products managed by the team. Act as the go-to expert for all data related topics.
  • Run ad-hoc analysis as proofs of concepts to inform further developments on the analytics products managed by the team as well as attending to immediate needs of business teams.
  • Act as a business problem-solver using in-depth understanding of the different media, performance, CRM and e-commerce data sources managed by the CDMO team.
  • Leverage business data understanding and BigQuery knowledge to answer both strategic and operational questions of the teams and management. Demonstrate ability to produce dashboards and compelling data visualisations.
  • Lead external teams of data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and finance, to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organization, providing training and support as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data and analytics, incorporating best practices into our operations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in data and analytics.
  • Proven expertise in handling Media, CRM, and / or e-commerce data.
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, data mining.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Knowledge of dashboarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
  • Knowledge of GCP data & analytics tools
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus.
