Position Summary and Candidate Profiles
Portland Community College’s Integrative Health Programs provide students and working professionals career training and professional development courses focused on health and well-being. We are currently seeking part-time faculty members who have current content knowledge, who can balance academics with practical application, and are committed to equitable student success.
Below are the Integrative Health Programs currently accepting applications. To be considered for a part-time faculty position, your application must demonstrate the Instructor Qualifications outlined below. When applying, you will be asked which of the below Integrative Health program(s) you are interested in.
Functional Nutrition
Portland Community College’s non-credit Functional Nutrition Certificate Program provides students and working professionals career training and professional development courses in the field of holistic nutrition. This 1-year program is offered in a mix of online and remote instruction and is approved by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).
Minimum Instructor Qualifications:
Herbalism
Portland Community College’s non-credit Herbalism Professional Certificate Program provides students and working professionals career training and professional development courses in herbal medicine. This 9-month program is delivered through online and remote instruction and is designed to support students who are seeking to apply herbal knowledge with clients, as well as those aspiring to become certified through the American Herbalists Guild (AHG).

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), you may view Portland Community College’s (PCC) most recent Annual Security Report (ASR) on the Department of Public Safety website. The ASR contains current security and safety-related policy disclosure statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information and resources, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains crime statistics for Clery Act crimes which occurred on PCC properties for the last three calendar years. Paper copies of the ASR are available upon request at all Department of Public Safety offices.
