Job Description

The Procure to Pay Specialist will drive compliance to Brambles/CHEP P2P and Procurement Policies, especially in regards of Coupa Pay (Virtual Credit Cards). As a Coupa Subject Matter Expert (SME), they will oversee the workflow used for purchasing and invoice processing to be able to support business and suppliers to ensure efficient invoice processing. The P2P Specialist will cooperate with the wider Procure to Pay and Procurement Teams including the Vendor Master Data team to ensure controls around the vendor master record database are monitored.

Main tasks will cover:

  • Provides support to the Brambles stakeholder community for Coupa Pay (access, submission, tax validation and reconciliation)
  • Ensures compliance to the Brambles Purchasing and Procurement Policies
  • Identifies opportunities to challenge non-supplier spend using virtual credit card.
  • Works with the business community and P2P colleagues to ensure compliance with any ad hoc requests falling outside the scope of onboarded suppliers (one-off spend)
  • Supports compliant purchasing by validating virtual card payment requests and all supporting evidence and having a responsibility to reconcile virtual credit card statements on a monthly basis.
  • Provides assistance for the invoice query process where virtual card is used.
  • Communicates effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders for efficient issue resolution.
  • Acts as Coupa SME to be able to see how each module works and where the challenges are
  • Monitors the Vendor Master Database to ensure all details are accurate

Who we look for:

  • BA Degree required
  • Fluent English, any other language highly desirable
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in either a Procure to Pay or Accounts Payable role
  • Ability to work in a visible and fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications especially Excel, SAP.Coupa knowledge highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Can demonstrate strong purchasing process fundamentals (Purchase to Payment process)
