Junior Creative Consultant - (230003X5)

The Junior Creative Consultant supports and focuses on the content development under the direction of the Associate Director and Lead Creative Consultant, having a discipline function in Design and Business

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Uses system-thinking and a design mindset to develop frameworks for creating and validating product lines and Services, facilitating interdisciplinary thinking and be integrationist in its approach.
  • Works with the coaching of Creative Directors and Associate Directors, often embedded in a core team of 
  • Designers
  • Aggregates multiple perspectives (best practices in design, customer insights, technical enablers, client objectives, etc.), and identifies a plan for turning design observations and insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Creates buy-in, both with internal design teams and our external clients, by using clear and emotionally resonant storytelling
  • Produces strategic content in multiple projects for multiple clients that exceeds or meets expectations stated in either the proposal or direct briefing from DW Strategic Management, including a range of new ideas, maturity of ideas, and relevance to the client’s criteria within the assigned time/budget framework.
  • Works with guidance across the complete design strategy chain, from framing strategic criteria and building.

  • Assess the influencers and drivers that shape market opportunities and build a framework that describes the resulting opportunity space.
  • Collaborate with Design teams to create design criteria that leverage the strategic framework.
  • Create design strategy communication that highlights how best practices in design create business value.

Design Strategy: Growth Strategy

  • Participate in cross-functional internal discussions on best practices in Design Strategy
  • Identify growth strategies, both internally and externally, by following industry trends and benchmarks, comparing competitive strategies and having an informed opinion on the state of the service offering.

The pay range for this role is $60,702.75- $78,556.50. 

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design strategy, Industrial Design or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of prior work experience within the field of Design, Strategy, or related field.
  • Must be more independent in own projects, reveal matureness and bandwidth of skills and tools as well as potential key competence focus.
  • Must reveal creative success attributes such as:
  • Conceptual: offering, service and product, USP, quality
  • Creative methods: tool-kit, design-thinking etc.
  • Unique field of competence (i.e. Story telling: multi-media, etc.)
