Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory experience or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 4 years of people management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a management, technical or engineering field.

About the Job

The Strategy and Operations team supports the Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO) by providing strategic leadership and scaled support needed to enable the growth of our business.

You will play a critical role in defining and driving strategic and operational projects to deliver commercial success for DSBO in each of its domains. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll help solve complex ecosystem, market, and partner issues across the organization. You’ll bring functional excellence in the area of strategy development and implementation, operational excellent, commercial insight and acumen and cross-functional stakeholder management.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a team of highly motivated strategy and operations professionals to execute agenda to drive business impact in Devices and Services Business Organization (DSBO).
  • Partner with senior leadership in DSBO to develop strategic perspectives on critical sales and operational topics that drive key decisions and set the future direction of the business.
  • Build strategic and operational capabilities and frameworks for the organization (e.g., data-driven processes, analytical tools, etc.)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to your stakeholder group, as well as a coach/mentor to the entire DSBO Strategy team.
  • Manage and coach team members across their projects, own team check-ins, project prioritization, and feedback and development of reports.
