The Opportunity
Our location in Austin, TX or Maple Grove, MN currently has an opportunity for a Global Business Analyst . The role will be an integral part of the Global EP Commercial Organization.
In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
What You’ll Work On
As Global Business Analyst, you will manage and lead cross-functional projects and serve as the business facilitator. You are responsible for designing and developing dashboards, data collection tools, enhanced processes, advanced analytical models, and other projects to support the EP Commercial Organization. You will ensure the highest level of data integrity while developing strong data management processes and techniques.
- Translate business needs and goals into an analytical approach and solution
- Develop Power BI dashboards to support key strategic initiatives
- Design and deliver data collection solutions using Power Apps
- Integration of Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to drive efficiencies and deliver strong data integrity
- Continuous pursuit of the latest technology to help advance our support of the business
- Assist in gathering requirements and working with business stakeholders and IT to ensure accurate development of desired capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams as a project manager
- Develop strategies, supporting tactics, and analytics to drive sales tool adoption
- Communicate effectively with team members, project customers, managers, directors, and others as appropriate
- Conceptualize, create, implement, and drive advanced analytics across the organization to reflect best-in-class practices while supporting data management and business intelligence
- Define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, and reliable
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 2+ years of experience with Power BI
- 1+ years of experience with Power Apps
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate information into relevant and actionable insights
- Comfortable working in newly forming, ambiguous areas where learning and adaptability are key skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Azure, SSMS and other enterprise software programs (SAP, Salesforce, & Business Objects)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Intellectually rigorous, analytical, and curious
- Dynamic, motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented creative thinker and problem solver
- Ability to assess and recommend the best methods of collecting and organizing data
- Comfortable working with a defined project and coordinating efforts with other teams
- Ability to travel up to 20%
