Job Summary/職務概要:

Working under direct supervision, provides educational and technical support in response to field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, patients, and field sales staff. Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best business practices to execute processes.

上司の指示、指導を受け、医師、ヘルスケア関係者、セールスからの担当領域の問い合わせに応えて、教育的、技術的サポートを提供する。最も効果的で、コスト効率が良く、最適なプロセスを特定し、日常的に実行する。

Job Duties/職務内容:

• Acts as the technical interface between the medical community and the regional office (or, assigned region.).

担当エリアの医療施設と所属営業所の技術的インターフェースとして活動する。

• Provides technical support in response to field inquiries.

担当領域の問い合わせに応えて技術サポートを行う。

• Provides minimal back-up support to field sales force in the following areas:

次の業務において、セールスへ最小限のバックアップ支援を行う。

o Regional training seminars

o 担当エリアのトレーニングセミナー

o Clinical studies/data collection

o クリニカルスタディ/データ収集

o Trouble shooting

o トラブルシューティング

o New product in-service training to physicians, nurses, device clinic technicians and sales representatives

o 医師、看護師、医療機器技術者、営業職への新製品に関する院内トレーニング

• Assists in the distribution of written Technical/Clinical Memoranda on products and issues,

製品や症例に関する技術的・臨床的な文献の提供を支援する。

• Assists Training and Education departments with educational seminars, and the preparation of educational materials.

教育セミナーや教材の作製にあたり、トレーニング/エデュケーション部門を支援する。

• Assists Sales with product demonstrations to visiting physicians and sales personnel.

医師や関係者を訪問して製品デモを行い、セールスを支援する。

• Remains current on developments in field(s) of expertise, regulatory requirements, and a general knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives as well as industry trends.

専門分野の知識開発、規制上の要件、マーケット、自社や競合会社の製品に関する一般的知識、業界のトレンドだけでなく業界目標の理解に努める。

• Uses existing procedure to solve and/or facilitate resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence.

再発防止のための原因特定も含め、既存の手順を活用し、問題解決やそのファシリテートを行う。

• Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

会社が指定する行動規範、公正競争規約、品質方針、環境マネジメントシステム、その他薬事法令上の規則など、全ての会社方針を遵守する。

• Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.

Qualifications/能力資格要件:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences or a technical field is desired

大学卒業あるいは同等の一般教養、社会常識を得ることができる社会人経験を有する。生物学、ライフサイエンスあるいは技術分野の専門性を有することが望ましい。

• Experience in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or equivalent is desired.

電気工学、医用生体工学あるいは同等の経験があることが望ましい。

• Must have demonstrated written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

口頭および文書によるコミュニケーション力、対人関係力、プレゼンテーション力、分析力、物事をまとめ上げる力、期限までに仕上げる能力を有する。

• Must be able to work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers to achieve assigned goals; must be capable of coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.

目標を達成するために、技術者、テクニカルスペシャリスト、代理店、顧客と効率よく仕事を行うことができる。複数のタスクを同時に効率よくコーディネートすることができる。

• Must possess demonstrated personal computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials.

Excel、Word、Outlook、PowerPoint等のコンピュータスキルを有する。

• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
