Our location in Columbus, OH (High Rise Warehouse) currently has an opportunity for a Forklift Operator – Alternate Weekends Shift. With state-of-the-art equipment and advanced automation, you will work with a team that’s dedicated to nourishing the world.

Weekend rotating starts 1st week Mon-Thur 3pm-11:30pm off on Friday Works Sat & Sun 5pm-5am Monday & Tuesday 3pm-11:30pm. Then off for 5 days in a row.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift is responsible for picking, layer picking, receiving, loading, and covering Low Bay support. The position will work onsite at our Columbus, OH (High Rise Warehouse) location.

• Safely operate a forklift and able to efficiently use the Cambar (warehouse management system)
• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system
• Effectively process shipments in a timely manner, using operating systems within the Columbus Distribution Center
• Store, pick or assemble finished product for shipment using the Cambar radio frequency inventory system
• Understand and properly utilize ship orders and associated Columbus Distribution Center paperwork and RF terminals for shipping/receiving finished product and returns
• Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)
• Verify the commodity number, quantity, release status and lot numbers
• Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year or more of previous warehouse experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to efficiently use the Cambar warehouse management system (or experience using other warehouse management systems)

The base pay for this position is

$14.67 – $29.33/hour
