As the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, you will report to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, leading a talented group of corporate communications professionals charged with developing compelling narratives that position EA as leading the future of interactive entertainment, instilling confidence in our long-term business strategy.

Working closely with C-suite executives and other leaders across corporate functions, EA EXPERIENCES, EA SPORTS and EA ENTERTAINMENT, you will help lead EA's communications efforts across a wide-ranging portfolio of topics and audiences, focused on enhancing and protecting our brand and reputation.

You are a proven communications strategist and a hands-on people leader, with experience aligning an organization's goals, values, motivations, and commitment to achieving shared success. You will have at least twelve (12+) years of communications experience with a proven track record of building influence and driving outcomes through collaboration and partnership.

You will work hybrid/onsite in Redwood City, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with VP, Corporate Communications to lead core elements of enterprise communications strategy with "always on" media and storytelling engines, maintaining closely integrated efforts across Corporate Communications, EA SPORTS, EA ENTERTAINMENT and enterprise social media channels and teams.
  • Provide communications counsel and activate diverse voices to amplify company stories to build brand value; create custom narratives through a combination of earned and owned media, speaking and social channels.
  • Partner with Franchise and Studio Communications leaders to ensure aligned goals, communications strategies, narratives and award submissions that mutually support EA corporate programs, and games/studio/franchise business goals.
  • Develop and lead high impact communication programs to support strategic business imperatives, including technology and AI communications, mobile gaming and other portfolio responsibilities.
  • Partner closely with C-Level executives in service of corporate visibility plans and programs, supporting and overseeing executive communications, media engagement, thought leadership and awards submissions.
  • Oversee team responsible for Corporate Newsroom operations and storytelling.
  • Oversee team responsible for integrated Latin America communications.
  • Manage agency resources to ensure alignment with key priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and developing globally diverse teams of Corporate Communications professionals.
  • Experience navigating globally matrixed organizations, driving alignment and outcomes across key internal business partners and teams.
  • Demonstrated capability of working with and influencing executive teams.
  • Experience developing and executing C-level executive communication plans and programs.
  • Experience managing issues and crisis situations, partnering with rapid response, issues and crises teams to mitigate business and reputation risks.
  • Experience developing brand & reputation/PR campaigns to influence, advance and shape stakeholder opinions.
  • Experience synthesizing and operationalizing company strategy and positioning based on monitoring of industry conversations, public relations trends, threats, and opportunities.
  • Experience in the technology, media, gaming or entertainment sectors helpful.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): º $193,000 - $300,850 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
