Rectification Technical Operator

PAY: $18.83 per hour + $.50 night shift differential

SHIFT: 6pm to 6am 

1st WEEK: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36 hours)

2nd WEEK: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours)

Monitors operation of all rectification machines to ensure optimal production efficiencies

Operates production equipment under the supervision of the shift supervisor such as the following:

• Follows all plant and safety rules and guidelines
• Follows provided training and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate industrial inline saws, grinders and other manufacturing equipment
• Adjust the cutting of tile to remain within parameters
• Remove and clear jams and broken tile
• Communicate quality issues and problems to shift supervisor
• Feed on tile from jams, samples and pallets
• Properly fill out all paperwork and quality checks
• Pressure wash floors and machinery
• Maintains and fixes production equipment
• Monitor product volume, quality, and record data
• Clean equipment/machinery using high pressure spray, brooms, scrapers, and hand scrubbing
• Operates a pallet jack and forklifts

High school diploma or equivalent experience. 3+ years previous manufacturing/production experience, preferrable in rectification area/department. Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
