The Role: Payroll Project Manager EMEA

The Team: The Payroll Project Manager is part of a team that manages projects for 33 payrolls in 18 countries, and growing, in the EMEA region. Additionally, this role will augment and support their peers in other regions as needed.

The Impact: The EMEA region includes 22 countries and 5,600 employees. The role is responsible for driving all payroll project related activities in the region. Partnering with internal partners across various functions and the outsourced vendors with respect to all payroll activities. The role encompasses partnering with colleagues in all People COEs, Finance, Tax and Audit, Legal, and our outsourced payroll providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Payroll systems and various SAAS systems. Plan and implement regional and global payroll projects: M&A activities, new entity implementations, payroll transformation, vendor change
  • Work with the business to collect requirements, design business processes and implement technical solutions
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assembling and coordinating project staff
  • Manage internal customer expectations, collaborate with stakeholders, other teams and develop effective work relationships
  • Plan and scheduling project timelines
  • Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Perform quality assurance & payroll testing
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports define project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a Project Manager role. Preferred with a focus on Payroll / HR Technology along with experience in HCM implementations
  • Degree in Business or Human Resources preferred
  • Working experience of Workday CRM preferred
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and handle complex issues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
