Purpose

Deliver training to Biologics employees via classroom and virtually. Responsible for the deployment of training and for the development, management, and organization of the training function to assure that employees and managers are properly trained to perform their assigned duties. In addition, the trainer will perform a variety of tasks to meet organizational staff development, and training needs.

Training Facilitation

  • Prepares for and delivers instructor-led or virtual training on variety of topics (business processes, systems, new capabilities) to all levels of internal learners.
  • Uses adult learning techniques, training tools and terminology appropriate to the learner and topic.
  • Adapts presentation style to meet the learner needs.
  • Practices good classroom management techniques to handle a variety of classroom situations.
  • Anticipates, addresses, and fields questions.
  • Provides both positive and constructive feedback to learners.
  • Provides feedback on employees’ progress to employee’s supervisors/management.
  • Implements training approaches to address employee’s performance gaps.
  • Develops exercises and demonstrations for training.

Training Coordination and Communication

  • Schedules training based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors.
  • Ensures all training rooms / venues, equipment, catering arrangements and other requirements are arranged and set up for an effective training experience for employees.
  • Organizes, prints, and prepares training manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Communicates appropriate pre-course information to participants / managers in advance
  • Maintains updated curriculum database and training records

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires up to two years related experience in training, education, pharmacy, or related field

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Up to 2 years of experience in training
  • Up to 2 years of experience in pharmacy support or training role
  • Specialty pharmacy, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Quality orientation with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • A Problem solver with solid customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical skills

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. 

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$20.69 - $34.49
