American Express’ ICS department is focusing on driving sustainable profitable growth, putting customers first. In ICS we represent all benefits and services related to our Consumer and Commercial Customers in the BENELUX. Whether owning a proprietary card (an American Express Card),one of our partnership cards, or a Business or Corporate Card our card members have access to a wide range of exclusive benefits.

The Business Enablement Team is responsible for enabling growth through the management of transformational projects, removing inhibitors for growth and the flawless execution of end-to-end projects. This includes leading the transformation of business processes to prevent future risks, overseeing & running the AML/KYC program for ICS Benelux, project management for the flawless execution of new products and capabilities with capability and process excellence.

In the new B35 Project manager role you will be reporting to the B35 Team Manager Business Enablement ICS Benelux and you will be responsible for successfully managing strategic projects, such as for example product changes and the implementation of new products and capabilities, including AML/KYC process improvements.

• Successfully manage large strategic projects
• Delivering Superior excellence by minimizing and managing operational risks.
• Leading the transformation of business processes to prevent future risks.
• Capability and process excellence is core to success of the Project Manager Business Enablement. 
• Manage compliance and adherence to brand guidelines, follow approval processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven project management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify a way through key business issues and drive strategy and growth across the Consumer and Commercial business.
• Proven strategic thought leadership with the ability to translate into practical plans.
• Knowledge of the Regulatory Environment and experience on Regulatory Projects (f.e. AML, KYC or other Financial regulatory projects).
• Ability to drive results across teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to establish successful collaborative partnerships across business lines and functions including Technologies, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk and Marketing.
• Excellent written and oral Communication skills (in preferably all Benelux languages), with the confidence to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of the B2B area would be an advantage.
