This position is within GRC Platform and Capabilities team within Global Risk and Compliance Line of Business. The Data Governance Analyst position will provide day to day tactical execution of key Data Governance functions including

1) Expanding the Data Needs List to include all GRC Business Processes,

2) Identifying GRC Critical Data Elements,

3) Nominating GFCC & GRC CDEs to the Enterprise Data Governance board for Enhanced Governance,

4) Identifying and providing Governance of Upstream SORs, and

5) Identifying Data Gaps and Data Quality concerns and working with the Enterprise to drive improvements to those.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Products or related field
• 1-3 years relevant experience in building data capabilities or similar roles
• Deep and broad expertise of Banking Data capabilities (BFSI) and Compliance and operational risk 
• Exposure to data discovery, data quality and data cataloging tools 
• Exposure of BI tools ( tableau, Micro strategy and Power BI)- Preferred
• Exposure to Big data/ cloud data lakes 
• Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and design industry leading solutions
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Mandatory :

• Big Data tools, including but not limited to Hive, SQL and Spark.
