The Pricing Analyst will be responsible to support the RBG Pricing and Program Portfolio. The candidate will maintain accuracy and execution of all pricing and related activities. The incumbent will partner with the business to understand, review strategy and carry out the associated action items for the business; as well as partner with team members and other departments including operations to contribute to and support all pricing and related transactions. The incumbent will insure maintenance of processes and compliance. 

The incumbent will support member compensation and build synergies with pricing team for added value and process improvements. The incumbent will support key initiatives taken by the business.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyze proposed new business, retention, and ownership transactions fully and examine all pertinent details.
  • Maintain and continuously improve and update standard pricing template.
  • Model different scenarios with a strategic mindset as required for specific transactions and groups and identify all alternatives for consideration.
  • Continuously maintain and update pricing and performance reports for business with timely updates.
  • Reporting of key business metrics.
  • Present specific files to all levels of organization with assertiveness and participate in pricing discussions assertively to ensure achievement of common ground.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss pricing and other related topics.
  • Utilize other platforms such as Salesforce, Power BI for improvement in efficiencies
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

General Responsibilities

  • Promotes the ICARE & ILEAD principles of McKesson Canada
  • Provide pricing, analytical, and ad hoc support to business. 
  • Prioritize with ability to pivot with changes to landscape.
  • Maintain and communicate periodic value add analytics, financial dashboards, KPI.
  • Develop financial models to support management.
  • Support or lead special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Competencies

The successful candidate will have the following credentials, skills, and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance or Accounting as well as an accounting designation.
  • Experience in accounting or analyst roles.
  • Proficient Excel Skills to do price and sales analytics and price modeling as well as advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meeting timeline and effectively balance workloads.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, organized with ability to prioritize and work autonomously.
  • Quick learner with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills for communications with all levels of organization.
  • Team-oriented, committed, driven, assertive, curious & self-directed.
  • Capable of solving problems, making the right decisions, and using sound judgement to escalate issues with recommendations when necessary.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. 

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$69,700 - $116,100
