Job Title: Assistant, Finance and Marketing & Label Operations

A little bit about our team:

The Finance department at Atlantic Records is responsible for accurately reporting the financial position of the company on a monthly and quarterly basis. In addition, the Finance department is responsible for establishing operational controls related to financial activities and preparing the fiscal budget for which the company is measured against. 

The Marketing Operations department functions as an extension of Atlantic Finance. This team is a motivated & detail-oriented group responsible for managing the accounting behind artistic visions for multiple projects and artists. In addition, the department is responsible for establishing operational controls related to financial activities and preparing the quarterly and fiscal budgets pertaining to the company’s marketing and T&E spend. Finally, the Finance & Marketing Operations department are both partners to all other departments with regards to making strategic decisions that benefit the company.

Your role:

You will act as Assistant to the CFO, providing support for administrative responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include providing efficient administrative support to the Finance and Marketing & Label Operations departments, while professionally multi-tasking Accounts Payable duties, marketing budgets, promotion guidelines, T&E, procurement, and charity.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Department, including, but not limited to assisting the Atlantic Records CFO with calendar management, scheduling calls, booking travel, and organizing expenses.
  • Support other departments and label assistants with their division finances on an as-needed basis.
  • Organize, coordinate, and submit Atlantic priority payment requests to our Accounts Payable division for processing.
  • Liaise with corporate travel agency on behalf of the East and West coasts to ensure compliance with corporate policy and guidelines.
  • Assist with employee and third-party plaque ordering and procurement process.
  • Master our internal payables system to provide additional support & research for orders & invoices in process. Set up and adjust vendors, open PO’s, and process invoices across various marketing departments.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations staff to organize and ensure accuracy of quarterly budget sheets for artist roster.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and SAP.

  • Collaboration skills and a desire to work cross-functionally with different teams.
  • Knowledge of Black Music and the community.

Salary Range

$19.23 to $20.51 Hourly

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
