Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a

Quality Assurance Expert

Your role in a nutshell: 

A high-profile role working within the Group Products & Services organisation and responsible for the execution of the established processes with respect to Auditing and Excellence, Corporate Responsibility, Product Liability and Pre-Delivery Inspections as well as high quality input into the creation of Supplier Qualification reports.

The role requires multi-cultural relationship management at senior and operational levels with Group Products & Services suppliers, Operating Companies and Partner Networks. The role also provides Subject Matter Expert support to the Group Products & Services organisation.

This is a specialist role requiring a wide breadth of devices lifecycle knowledge combined with an expert level understanding of development & volume manufacturing processes, audit & business risk assessment, underpinned by a sound Quality/Design Assurance foundation. 

Strong influencing & confident presentation skills are essential. 

What you’ll do:

• Executes and follows up on Products & Services Supplier Qualification process for all our Vodafone Branded devices across all product categories
• Operational interaction with third party inspection services organisations and coordination of audit performance to our suppliers
• Together with the VPC, represents Vodafone on relevant industry initiatives/bodies (JAC/RBA)
• Implements best in class supplier assurance processes by continuously seeking quality process improvements
• Performs admin activities such as, Purchase Orders placement
• Audit Reports where All Vodafone Group P&S suppliers for Vodafone branded products are qualified and compliant to Vodafone requirements 
• Establish P&S Supplier Assurance capability in Asia & Europe
• Supports VPC in delivering added value to the P&S delivery process in identifying & eliminating cost of poor quality & reducing time to market.

What you will bring to the team:

• Solid experience in: Manufacturing Processes, Quality Management Systems/Design Assurance, Environmental Management Systems, Social Accountability Standards, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
• Excellent communication skills combined with an understanding of any related operational issues (e.g. audit reports)
• Process-driven. Experience with complex stakeholder management in an international environment
• Innovative thinker with a personal passion for Supplier Assurance
• High-level numerical analysis skills and ability to draw and provide clear conclusions and recommendations (good Excel/PowerPoint skill or other related digital data tools)
• Experience in corporate social responsibility and corporate sustainability across Asia
• Sound understands of telco technology, products and supply/consumer market
