Why is this role really critical to us? 

We are looking for IT Service Desk Senior Manager who holds overall accountability for Service Desk and OfficeIT applications, ITIL Service Operation Process and Service/System Monitoring.

IT Service Desk Senior Manager should have a good understanding of ITIL processes to ensure the highest level of customer experience by supporting services to be reliable, available and performing well.

As IT Service Desk Senior Manager, you will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders such as application operation, infrastructure operation, solution development, OIT users, VF Global teams, contracted partners and product vendors.

How will you spend your time at Vodafone? 

We are looking for IT Service Desk Senior Manager who holds overall accountability for Service Desk and OfficeIT applications, ITIL Service Operation Process and Service/System Monitoring.

IT Service Desk Senior Manager should have a good understanding of ITIL processes to ensure the highest level of customer experience by supporting services to be reliable, available and performing well.

As IT Service Desk Senior Manager, you will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders such as application operation, infrastructure operation, solution development, OIT users, VF Global teams, contracted partners and product vendors.

Leadership of multiple teams of managers and senior technology leaders who have the responsibilities below and delivers the capabilities, tasks below;

  • Manage, govern and improve Incident, Change, Event, Problem, Defect, Announcement Management Process
  • Monitor IT System and Services 7*24 , Take First Response and Coordinate Related IT Groups
  • Comply IT Process with BCM & Information Security & HSE Standards of Regulations, VFTR and VF Global Standards
  • Manage IT User Access Management Process and Application
  • Design, Develop and operate following applications and platforms 
  • Configuration Management Platform, Service Catalogue
  • Workload, Process and Robotic Automation Platform
  • ITSM Platform (Maximo)
  • Event Management Platform (Tivoli)
  • Application Performance Management Platform
  • Deliver the following Office IT services and manage the related contracts with partners
  • Client Virtualization Platform (Citrix)
  • Active Directory
  • MS Exchange, Teams and SCCM
  • MDM Platforms,
  • Office Equipments(IS, VC, Printers, etc.)
  • Manage and govern Employee, Shop and VIP Client Support services with in Defined SLAs Timelines,

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have: 

  • BSc. degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Math, Information Systems)
  • Minimum 10+ year overall experience in IT Service Management on IT Operations related roles
  • Minimum 10+ years overall team management experience in enterprise applications management with high business criticality
  • Experience in leading multiple teams of first line managers and senior engineers
  • Good experience and knowledge in DevOps concepts
  • Very good communication skills and crisis management skills
  • Deep Knowledge and experience with ITIL Framework Practices
  • Build effective relationships both within and outside the department; seek input from and maintain effective ongoing communication with others.
  • Ability to a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Result oriented, strongly motivated leader with excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Business Acumen
