Role Purpose: Ensures the development of the Transport Corridors business strategy by leveraging on our strengths in order to enable a profitable mid-term business growth in this segment. Besides, will lead a global programme management of the different projects and initiatives ongoing in the different countries. 

The Business Strategy & Project Manager will have the following Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Elaborates the business strategy for the Transport Corridors segment, identifying opportunities and developing the goals and objectives to achieve them. 
  • Ensures a proper alignment with Vantage Towers main stakeholders in the definition of our strategy
  • Jointly with the Finance teams, ensures the necessary associated business case
  • Based upon the overall Vantage Towers strategy, customizes it to meet the local country situation and opportunities
  • Assists the Head of Transport Corridors to design and reach the company´s operating mission and targets, contributing to the strategic business development of the area
  • Leads, coordinating the local countries, the overall programme management of this segment, monitoring the fulfilment of our initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinates the local markets and TopCo stakeholders, monitoring risks in the delivery of our fulfilment and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Owns and ensures the Transport Corridors established governance with TopCo main stakeholders as well as with the local countries. 
  • Coordinates internally and with the local markets to support the finance teams in budgeting, forecasting.

  • Profound experience in developing strategic business plans in telco
  • Strong experience in leading project management in complex projects
  • Experience building and managing diverse teams and delivering successfully across cultures and markets
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work and lead international teams and to work and deliver under clear deadlines.
  • Strong results-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical ability to resolve complex, strategic, and logical issues.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written)

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

  • University technical master´s degree in Telecom. Engineering, Business, or similar education
  • Accredited with broad and profound knowledge of the telecom business
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in the field of telecommunications projects and at least 10 years in management functions
  • Experience in building exceptional results in a multinational company with complex matrix structures and international relationships, balancing local market needs with global strategy, taking into account local culture and sensitivity
  • Experience and/or certifications in project management
