Why is this role really critical to us?
- Purpose of this role is to take part in analysis, design and troubleshooting of software modules and products
- in accordance with the business requirements, technical specifications, internal procedures and quality objectives,
- using state of the art technologies,
- performing reviews, collaborating with architects, designers and developers,
- working with agile methodologies,
in order to enhance Inhouse Billing Product of Vodafone Turkey with new capabilities.
How will you spend your time at Vodafone?
- Responsible for all design activities that lead the team to achieve their sprint goals & team KPIs
- Suggest improvements to user stories and UX
- Delivers detailed functional and technical analysis against backlog items in line with software engineers in other squads; handshakes on the specifications of the integrations points.
- Prepare release documents for the delivery
- Together with Ops and Infrastructure teams, studies dimensioning for the systems in the domain based on the traffic forecast provided by the business unit
- Works with product owner, Solution designer and software engineer define backlog items (epics, features, user stories, tasks) for the necessary cases
- Estimates size of backlog items
- Translates backlog items into engineering design and logical units of work (tasks) with the solution developers.
- Supports testers for test case preparation; reviews test cases.
- Provides development support for defects and issues raised by relevant stakeholders regarding the domain under the teams responsibility.
- Executes RFP/RFP & SOW process if required.
- Works with solution architect to maintain product roadmaps and target architecture
- Reviews and approves vendor design documents; follow ups vendor development.
- If assigned as a Lead Solution Owner, drives e2e development activities, ensures e2e quality of the delivery
- Making research and implementing new technologies to improve time to market, quality, flexibility and reusability
- Ensuring delivery of software modules, products and solutions with committed functionality, performance criteria, within committed timelines.
- Complying with information security policies, standards and procedures of Vodafone Turkey.
You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have:
- University Degree preferably on Computer Engineering or similar dicsipline
- 3+ years of experience. working as software engineer
- At least 2+ years of experience Java and/or similar modern programming languages
- Expertise in Data Modelling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modelling, etc.)
- Good Technical skills in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL,
- General experience with Microservice architectures
- APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST and similar technologies
- Spring and/or similar frameworks
- General experience with Cloud Computing
- Agile software development methodologies,
- CI/CD tools and methodologies,
- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong understanding of software development process
- Strong business orientation with strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Strong Presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Knowhow and experience of Telecommunication concepts and services.
- Self motivated: Motivated to do or achieve more because of one's own enthusiasm or interest, without needing pressure from others.
- Initiative: Doing things proactively, stepping up and taking action to improve current situations or address challenges and potential opportunities.
