Job Description

The Transportation Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Guest Shuttle service and overall management of the Driver program. Coordination and scheduling of shuttle bus program, pick up and transport of off property resort customers to and from local lodging properties to ARAMARK resort attractions and tours. Interviewing, hiring and training of CDL Class B drivers and upkeep of all compliance documentation and requirements. Able to fill in and operate as a driver when needed. 

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all DOT, CDL compliance for vehicles and employee drivers
• Monitor driver hours, trip mileage, and fuel usage
• Develop and adjust daily and weekly schedules to meet demand
• Must be legally able to drive a bus (Passenger and Air Brake endorsed).
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must have/develop knowledge of area lodging and attractions.
• Must comply with all Aramark, state and federal DOT rules and regulations.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must abide by and uphold all “be the difference” guest service standards
• Must be able to operate busses in all manner of weather conditions.
• Must be able to be flexible regarding changes and additions in pick up routines.
• Must be able to communicate clearly on bus to base radio.
• Must assist in other duties when asked, such as (but not limited to) dispensing rental clothing in Snowmobile Operations, or busing tables on evening Cruises 
• Work with Fleet Mechanics to ensure scheduled maintenance is being completed

Qualifications

• Minimum Class B driver’s license.
• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
• Air brake endorsement 
• A Clean Driving Record (Must meet ARAMARK and Federal DOT Standards)
• Drug Screen and pre-employment DOT background check.
• Must be able to accurately complete DVIR’s and Pre trip inspections.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to prove eligibility to work in the United States
• Previous experience Managing drivers and scheduling 
• Demonstrated leadership role with oversight of a team of 10+ employees 
• Available for night, day and weekend shifts.
• Experience driving in winter conditions and tire chain installation
• Proficient skill with Word, Excel, online booking systems (preferably SMS but similar experience considered), GMS platforms and other computer-based skills. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
