This Senior Software Engineering position is part of the lottery division engineer team at Scientific Games. Your work on this team will help enable the funding of good causes like education, health care, senior citizens, roads, bridges, state parks and trails as well as the environment.
Joining this team, you will be among peers in professional engineering that report up in small groups to a Software Development Manager. You will find these teams are made up of career minded professionals that have chosen to be in the lottery industry.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team that works on complex systems with engineering challenges.
Your domain will be a high-speed transaction engine that handles many thousands of retailer terminals devices and all the transaction they produce.
The day-to-day job is to implement changes, support production, design, estimate and develop new features.
