Position Summary

Human Capital – Retirement & Wealth – Senior Consultant

The complexity, costs and risks associated with employee benefits creates an increasing threat to business performance. An enterprise-wide strategy for managing benefits gives our clients the framework to develop programs that work in concert to help attract and retain top talent in a cost-effective manner so they can offer benefits that give them a competitive edge while meeting the needs of their employees.

Our Retirement and Wealth management consulting professionals work across all segments of the financial services industry, including Retirement, Wealth, and Asset Management. We enable organizations to differentiate themselves in the market by helping them analyze existing services and products; develop competitive growth capabilities, efficiency, technology, and operations; implement modernization strategies; and take new offerings to the marketplace.

We are looking for people with a deep understanding of financial services and in-depth expertise in Financial Services and Insurance, with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Business Strategy, Customer Experience, Operating Model: Design and Implementation, Technology and Operations Transformation & Modernization, M&A - Diligence through Integration, Robotics and Cognitive Automation, Product Development/Management,
  • IT Strategy, Process Consulting, Cost Optimization, Digital Modernization/Transformation, Program Management, Change Management, Product Implementation, Managed/Recordkeeping Services (e.g., defined contribution plans)
  • Driving digital strategy for FSI clients using key technologies likes Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Omni/Conversational Channels, Cloud, Blockchain, Social & Mobility

Domain Expertise in the following areas:

  • US Retirement Pension Plans – 401(k), 457, 403(b), etc.
  • Regulatory Landscape: US Retirement market regulations such as ERISA/DOL rules, SECURE Act, etc.
  • Capital Markets: Investment Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Retirement Services
  • Insurance: Life, property & casualty, annuities and retirement services
  • Banking: Retail banking, commercial banking, trade finance, core banking transformation
  • Banking Payments: International payments, cards, real time payments, payment channels, engines, hubs and gateways
  • Channels and Distribution: E-Banking, Omni-channel, Open Banking and Conversational Banking

Work you’ll do

As a business consultant, you would be working on consulting engagements as part of a cross -cultural team across regions

  • Take up a range of roles in the areas of process consulting, functional consulting, tech strategy, program management and change management
  • Analyze problems and come up with solutions, often creative and out -of-the-box
  • Apply business consulting frameworks and methodologies to address business problems (e.g., Agile Methodology)
  • Be responsible for the delivery of business results to clients
  • Lead workshops to collaborate with client stakeholders and educate them throughout the process
  • Lead / drive project teams internal/external and client conversations
  • Lead / contribute to sales pursuits, consulting offerings and internal initiatives
  • Participate in a variety of firm building events

Qualifications

Required:

  • Candidates for this position are expected to have a minimum of an MBA finance degree with 5+ years of overall experience.

Preferred:

  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently and cooperatively in a close team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and have good attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
