Job Summary

Kenworth Division of PACCAR is hiring a Sales Application Developer to join our PremierSpec Sales Application team in Kirkland, Washington. The Sales Application Developer will act as the key member in adding & maintaining content into the PremierSpec sales tool based on the direction of the Division’s sales & marketing campaigns, as well as being a key resource for fielding questions and requests from dealers and internal support on the PremierSpec sales tool.

Job Responsibilities

Works with the product change process to integrate new content into the sales software by:

  • Interpreting and writing logic rules to support complex component configurations.
  • Developing solutions to guide users through the truck configuration process.
  • Acting as a liaison between Engineering, Marketing, and IT software developers.
  • Certifying the outcome of the software developer enhancement efforts.

Serves as the champion of the sales software user experience, providing ongoing support by:

  • Providing support to Kenworth dealership users of the sales tool.
  • Initiating process improvement opportunities to enhance the sales tool.
  • Seeking technological solutions to organize, automate, and synchronize business needs.
  • Recognizing the impact of software changes to the business.
  • Training internal and external clients on the use of the sales tool.
  • Creates technical documents to define enhancements to the sales tool.

Required Experience & Skills

  • B.A./B.S.
  • Experience working with a technical, system, and/or business team to develop creative approaches to problems and effectively communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate technical data.
  • Familiarity with programming, logic sets, and relational database structure.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying schedules and shifting priorities; highly organized.
  • Determined to succeed despite unanticipated obstacles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Willing to learn new technologies.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and customer support environment.
  • Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:
  • SQL
  • AWS/Snowflake
  • Python
  • Truck knowledge

Additional Job Board Information

The salary range for the Sales Application Developer is $75,100 - $112,300 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
