NBC News Digital is looking for a talented senior producer well-versed in video forensics to join the Digital Docs and Enterprise Video team. This new role will report to the Senior Executive Editor of Digital Video Productions and will be at the forefront of innovative, long-form, in-depth storytelling at NBC News. We’re looking for a strong candidate who sees the video forensic and video analysis opportunities in a fast-moving news cycle. The ideal candidate has experience in forensics storytelling, reporting, and production, including expertise in satellite imagery and CCTV footage, open-source material, user-generated content across social platforms and the web and the latest technology and AI tools, while also maintaining strong traditional journalism skills and practice.
This role requires the ability to work independently and across multiple teams to produce, advance, elevate and showcase the best of NBC News reporting. The Senior Forensics Producer should also be a strong leader with experience managing and leading editorial direction across a team of producers, in addition to effectively partnering with video editors, motion graphics artists and post-production team members.
