Job Description:

Human Resources Representative, Associate New Jersey VIC Program

Parsons is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Representative Associate, to join the NJVIC program. The HR Representative Associate plays a supporting role at the NJVIC program while actively engaging in hands-on tasks. This fast-paced role entails supporting the Human Resources department including fulfilling positions across 26 locations that align with strategic business priorities.

This position will be based in Hamilton, New Jersey with a hybrid/remote work schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Facilitate effective communication among HR representatives, managers, and candidates to streamline the hiring process.
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication while overseeing candidates throughout the entire hiring process.
  • Sustain a constant flow of candidates to meet ongoing staffing requirements.
  • Foster a positive and professional association with potential candidates to ensure the overall candidate experience.
  • Support the HR representatives in coordinating and conducting new employees orientation
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the NJVIC union culture, values and work environment
  • Generate internal reports, compiles data, filing and maintaining staffing records
  • Work collaboratively with the HR department, candidates and managers to deliver seamless HR support

What required Skills You’ll bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Administration, a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of HR experience that includes recruitment and the ability to apply fundamental Talent Management Principles, company policies and practices to assign tasks directed.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) on TM issues pertaining to assigned task.
  • Ability to handle confidential assignments and work in a fast-paced, highly visible union environment.
  • Proficient and prioritizing, aligning and adapting to changes, and resourceful, while maintaining genuine and ongoing support.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong and productive partnerships with employees and managers at all levels
  • Proposing strong business acumen sharp, sharp critical thinking skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: 

$21.44 - $37.55
