Please note: You will work primarily remotely in this role, you are required to travel to our Sydney HQ minimum 6 times per year

You will be working with the marketing leadership team on how we diagnose the market, identify new growth opportunities and better understand what is and isn’t driving growth. Working collaboratively across the data analytics and marketing teams, your contributions will be invaluable to our business, spanning from making contributions to marketing strategy through to tackling some of our more important marketing measurement challenges.

How you will add value:

  • Enhance our existing attribution models for both customers and consumers to help us better understand what investment is helping improve progress towards our objectives.
  • Work with the data analytics team to improve our end-to-end visibility on tradie acquisition data across marketing & sales touchpoints.
  • Report on month-end marketing outcomes (leads, new sales, new users, sales conversion rate, first-month yield) and marketing efficiency metrics (sales conversion rate, CAC trends, CAC payback period, marketing ROI). Provide insights to the marketing team to help them understand opportunities to improve these metrics..
  • Deliver the insights that help the marketing team unlock opportunities to increase user engagement across our existing users, both tradies and homeowners alike.
  • Work with our internal data and our external research providers to help diagnose the market and our position in it, providing the broader business with market intelligence. 

About you:

  • Tertiary degree qualified, ideally in areas of Business Analytics and Management, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Actuarial Studies, Marketing or related field 
  • 5+ years of data analytics experience in a marketing function for an e-commerce or technology company
  • Strong working knowledge of BI tools (I.e. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc) and Excel skills
  • Advanced level of SQL or equivalent
  • Intermediary level of UA/GA4/Digital analytics experience
  • Familiarity with marketing and advertising execution platforms and experience working with enterprise data warehouses and visualisation tools
  • Passionate about all things data, and ability to digest complex data and storytelling
  • Organise data findings and synthesise them with business results to form high-level business recommendations
