Title: People Analytics Technical Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking an People Analytics Technical Specialist to join our People Analytics team in our new shared capability centre (HSCC) based in Hyderabad, integrating into our broader, Global Operating Model.

The People Analytics Technical Specialist will be responsiblacae for both the Workday Reporting and Workday Prism solutions, ensuring they are configured, implemented, and delivered successfully to support and meet business demand.

They will work closely with key technical stakeholders, including those within the People Analytics and wider HR team to assess needs, understand technical requirements, investigate potential solutions, and escalate and resolve system-related issues as they arise. They will also be expected to foresee new functionality, features, and capabilities, whilst keeping up with market trends related to both Workday Reporting and Workday Prism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product owner specialist and go-to resource with extensive understanding of functionality, design, configuration, and future product capabilities.
  • Partner with People Analytics, People Technology, the wider HR function, and other key stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces (e.g. reporting templates).
  • Develop and oversee the Workday Reporting and Workday Prism roadmaps, prioritising, scheduling, and tracking the implementation of new technical features and enhancements as they arise.
  • Design, develop, configure, and test advanced reporting (e.g. advanced, matrix, composite) using Workday Report Writer as well as other organisational tools and available technologies.
  • Ensure security, roles, and access parameters are in place correctly so that specific employee populations, have access to relevant reporting needs.
  • Identify strategies, risks, and options for recommending approaches towards meeting requirements across various HR work streams
  • Provide multi-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised analytical solutions, reports, dashboards, and analytics to align with business requirements .
  • Collaborate with People Analytics leadership to ensure Workday Reporting and Workday Prism are configured and aligned to relevant strategies/initiatives associated with other functional areas.
  • Partner with technical stakeholders across People Technology and broader IT to ensure Workday Reporting and Workday Prism fit within the overall Technology infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in People Analytics.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Workday Reporting and Workday Prism including data sources, calculated fields, custom objects, advanced reporting and configuration.
  • In-depth understanding of Workday Reporting and Workday Prism processes and best practices.
  • Experience partnering with different stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs, translating into technical solutions.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with a great attention to detail.
  • Experience contributing to People Analytics’ strategy, design, and process alignment.
  • Independent, experience self-managing and monitoring own workload.
  • Expert problem solving and analytical skills.
