Vantive: A New Company Built On Our Legacy

  • Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

This role will act as System Owners for applications\platforms assigned to him in his\her specific domain (as per table above). This role is responsible for supporting the development of technical solutions for the domain scope area. This includes analyzing requirements, tracking development progress, and ensuring that the product meets customer needs and expectations. The role includes ongoing ownership and support of the applications after implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in solution development in their scope area, and excellent analytical skills with at least 7 years of experience. They must also be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have a passion for driving innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and other IT functions on medium and large sized system enhancements and projects to translate business requirements into technical designs that are globally scalable and resilient
  • Develop test scenarios/scripts and execute testing, obtaining objective evidence that meets each test.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures to standardize tasks for consistency in operations
  • Work with 3rd party, other IT teams, and/or business partner when issues are found; manage issues to closure.
  • Helps create, manage, and enforce IT Controls, validation and change control, policies, and procedures. Ensure completion of Technical and Quality Documentation to ensure compliance with best practices, standards and policies. Perform Release Execution, Planning and Delivery and manage conflicts. Ensure best practices are followed during release flow and branchingPut together work plans, track project work. Independently manage own work.
  • Serve as product engineer for agile or SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) based project teams.
  • Communicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team.
  • Perform tasks with minimum direction, independently manage complex problems, guide others
  • Support EA in analyzing Applications capabilities and drive standardization among application in his\her domain portfolio
  • Alert and escalate technical issues and concerns to Project Lead, Functional Lead and Architect
  • PoC and technical demos for exceptional requirements
  • Ensure project delivery on-time and within scope

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with application development with end-to-end global implementation
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum techniques and tools like JIRA
  • Experience in CI/CD tools such as AutoRabit, Jenkins, Bitbucket a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, code review, and release
  • Strong communication (verbal/written/listening) skills and attention to detail
  • Detail-oriented and able to work within a team setting
  • Experience working with and/or driving remote teams across continents and time zones
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Management of stakeholders and their expectations
  • Ability to work with cross-functional matrixed teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Interpersonal skills and development of relationships with team members, peers, leaders, and customers
  • Working knowledge of lean product principles and strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and IT compliance
  • Foundational project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party providers on product features, releases, and issue resolution
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Experience related to Software as Service (SaaS)
  • Experience with ITSM Process; experience with Service Now or Jira is preferred
