Role – Customer Success Manager – SketchUp

Position Summary

The “SketchUp Team” is growing and we are seeking an AEC tech-savvy individual to join our Customer Success team. As a Customer Success Manager the primary responsibility is to drive customer engagement, adoption, and retention of our software and services by enabling overall customer success. While in the Pre-sales stage, the CSM will demonstrate the value of our products in order to assist in the closure of sales opportunities. After closure, you will be the technical advisor for assigned accounts, assisting both business champions and technical users to get the most value from our products and services. You’ll collaborate closely with Channel Partners, Direct Sales, Marketing, and Product teams as well as with others on the global Customer Success team in order to provide guidance and complete solutions to our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing customer relationships with the goal of customer retention, ensuring renewals, and product expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with Direct and Partner Sales teams to establish trusted advisor relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Engage with channel partners to provide updates on product features, product workflows, and guidance on Customer Success related topics.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our solutions and educate customers about the most relevant solutions for their specific business needs.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations to existing customers as well as to prospective customers in events such as conferences, seminars, and online sessions.
  • Respond to customer product questions and develop and recommend best practices.
  • Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.

Useful Skills & Experience:

  • You should hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering or equivalent experience in AEC markets.
  • Ideally, you’ll have experience with SketchUp modelling software or that of our competitors and you’ll be familiar with workflows within AEC and other design fields.
  • You enjoy problem solving and supporting our customers to maximize the use of our products and services..
  • You should be a confident presenter and be able to communicate professionally both verbally and in written responses.
