We are looking for high caliber Principal Member of Technical Staff (Software Developer 4) for our team (Server Farm Team).

Server Farm (Farm) is the functional testing framework for Oracle Database and dependent products. Farm supports multiple platforms and operating systems, with resources distributed across multiple Oracle data centres and Oracle Cloud Regions. More than two lakhs of functional tests run in Farm every day.

We are tackling some of the most intriguing problems in software architecture while designing and building highly scalable cloud native services, and solutions from the ground up.

This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. 

You will be responsible for solving algorithmically complex problems, work on front and backend services that can handle massive workloads in a distributed multi-tenant architecture, utilizing serverless computing, auto-scaling, micro services architecture on Kubernetes, ML/AI based predictive algorithms. 

Our projects spans across multiple OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) services like - compute, network, storage, OCI logging service, OCI events service, Kebernetes etc. and you will work closely and learn from a large engineering community with direct interaction with project leadership and customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience
  • 6+ years of experience with data structures or algorithms
  • Prior experience in working on public cloud (Oracle Cloud, AWS, GPC, Azure)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent industry experience
  • Requires strong communication and writing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with React, Java, Spring boot.
  • Experience with REST/RPC API design and development
  • Knowledge in Linux and its administration with scripting capability to automate repetitive tasks. Linux kernel experience is a plus
  • Practical experience writing large scale web applications including architectural decisions, language choices, frameworks and implementation.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
